Hotel SnapShots

 

Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel® is an eight-story, high-rise hotel that is two miles from the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.  This hotel has a scheduled complimentary shuttle service, a fitness center, and an indoor/outdoor heated pool.

 

Hampton Inn & Suites® has free 24 hour airport shuttle service.  It has 80 standard rooms and 29 suites, free high-speed Internet access, a heated indoor pool, and microwaves and refrigerators in every room.

 

Holiday Inn® Charlotte Airport Hotel has four floors and is one mile from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, with free shuttle service to and from the airport.  There are three King-Size suites that have kitchenettes and full-size refrigerators.  Features of this hotel include a fitness center, outdoor pool, and a coin laundry.

 

Country Inn & Suites® is two miles from the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and has 119 guest rooms.  The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, free high-speed Internet access, heated pool, a fitness center, and in-room microwaves.

 

Comfort Suites® Airport Hotel has 84 guest rooms and is located less than one mile from the Charlotte-Douglas    International Airport.  Features of the hotel include free airport transportation from 5:00 AM until Midnight and a free hot breakfast.   

 

 

Homewood Suites Charlotte Hotel by Hilton® is an all suite hotel and is located one mile from the airport.  There is free shuttle service to and from the airport and also to businesses within a 3-mile radius of the hotel. Each of the 102 suites has a fully equipped kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas.  This hotel offers a free hot breakfast and an outdoor swimming pool. 

 

Hyatt Place® Charlotte Airport hotel is two miles from the Charlotte-Douglas Airport.  It does have complimentary transportation within a 3-mile radius of the hotel.  This hotel has an outdoor swimming pool.

 

Ramada Airport North® is approximately 1.5 miles from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in the industrial park area.  It is a two-story hotel, and has free shuttle service to and from the airport from 3am to 1am daily. This hotel has an outdoor pool, an exercise room, and welcomes pets

 

Wingate by Wyndham®  is located within 2 miles of the airport and has 80 guest rooms.  It offers a complimentary airport shuttle.

 

Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel® is a nine-story hotel within 2 miles of the Charlotte-Douglas Airport.  It has 275 suites, 16 meeting rooms, an indoor pool, and a fitness center.

How We Determine Amenities
The features and services listed in our chart above must be available to every guest with NO qualifiers. Some Charlotte airport hotels have amenities that are only available to guests who belong to that hotel’s "club", and membership is based upon how often you stay at that hotel chain.  In other words, guests have to earn membership into that club.

 

We do not show a Charlotte airport hotel as offering an amenity, such as free hot breakfast or access to the exercise room, if that amenity or service is available only to certain guests.

 

 

Why We Don't Compare Room Rates
What guests pay for rooms at Charlotte airport hotels is subject to many factors that are constantly changing.  For example, rates are affected by who the guest is - members of certain organizations (such as AAA) usually pay a discounted room rate. 

Unfortunately, room rates can also differ simply based on which of the customer service representatives answer the phone - talk to two different CSRs and you might be able to negotiate a lower rate for the same room.

 

 

 

 

Pet Fees

Be aware that the Charlotte airport hotels that do allow pets charge a fee. As with room rates, pet fees change so frequently that we do not compare them.
